Apple Leisure Group (ALG) consists of seven world’s leading travel companies that has been providing all-inclusive vacation packages for 16 years.
The client distributes the products through its own vertically integrated online travel agencies, including CheapCarribean.com, Travel Impressions, and Apple Vacations.
ALG needed a partner who could immediately grasp CheapCarribean.com’s system nuances and devise the most cost-effective approach for upgrading and maintaining their legacy platform.
The DataArt team applied a reverse-engineering approach in order to get a deep understanding of the client’s technology stack and business processes.
Legacy system performance improvements were achieved through a combination of code optimizations and migrating to more advanced technologies. Within the assigned project the following integrations were implemented: Sabre Web Services, Chase Paymentech, Oracle Responsys, Google Hotel Ads, Bazaarvoice, in Contact, TripConnect.
Stability, security and performance of the overall platform were improved dramatically. The Sabre air booking workflow optimization decreased error rate to below the average number in the market. What is more, significant website re-design resulted in a 30% revenue increase.
